Must be an active or retired sworn law enforcement officer living or working in Miami County, Ohio.


Open to Miami County residents nominated or sponsored by a FOP Lodge 58 member in good standing. Honorary membership allows for participation in lodge activities, without voting privilege.


Must be an active, retired or former law enforcement officer of Miami County in good standing. Families may purchase a brick for deceased Miami County Law Enforcement Officers who meet the above criteria.

Miami County FOP Lodge 58 awards Opportunity Grants to “actively participating members” for participation in programs to enhance the mind, body, or soul of themselves or their children.


Miami County FOP Lodge 58 offers scholarships up to $1000 to any child of an “actively participating member” when the child is pursuing a law enforcement degree.

EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS


The FOP Free College Benefit makes it possible for you and your family members to earn an associate degree completely online – for FREE.


The NFOPU is a consortium of colleges and universities that provides members of the National FOP with multi-varied learning programs. FOP Members receive benefits in the form of actual tuition cost reduction or extensive credit for past degree work and training.


Applicant must be a graduating high school senior with a parent or legal guardian who is a member in good standing with the Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio or have been a member in good standing at time of their death. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of economic need, scholastic performance, leadership qualities and goals in life.


The Miami County FOP Memorial Scholarship was established to honor members of the Miami County Fraternal Order of Police for youth in Miami County interested in the criminal justice field.


The Grand Lodge Fraternal Order of Police may, based on financial need, provide assistance in the form of an education tuition reimbursement scholarship to eligible members so that they may be able to obtain an education degree.


The National Fraternal Order of Police Foundation, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, has created a new scholarship program for the spouses of fallen law enforcement officers who seek to enter the workforce or enhance their current career situations.
