Some of the lodge benefits are available only to "actively participating" members.  We feel that the future of our lodge is dependent upon actual participation, to at least some degree, by the members.  We also realize that some members seek only the association with our name.  While that is certainly acceptable, and we appreciate all members, we have determined that there should be some benefit to doing the work that it takes to keep the lodge going.

The definition is:  A member who attends a minimum of one half of the scheduled monthly meetings.  Excused absences will be granted due to scheduled work.  Unexcused absences can be made up by participating in an approved service or lodge project as approved by the president.
